Market Catalyst speeds up move into Shanghai
<p>SHANGHAI: Marketing communications start-up, Market Catalyst, has </p><p>brought forward its planned expansion in China with plans to open an </p><p>office in Shanghai by the end of the second quarter. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Market Catalyst chief executive, Conrad Chiu, said the earlier entry is </p><p>due to strong revenue growth of HKdollars 80 million (USdollars 10.2 </p><p>million) achieved since its launch six months ago. Chiu said the </p><p>Shanghai office will have a head count of 25 and will be targeting </p><p>Chinese and multinationals for business. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The agency has been providing mainly interactive services in China </p><p>through its group network for foreign multinational clients such as </p><p>Johnson & Johnson, Philips and Vidal Sassoon. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>"The results in the past six months not only highlights Market Catalyst </p><p>as a marketing solutions company but also demonstrates our ability to </p><p>deliver strategy-based marketing integration to clients," said Chiu. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
