Ranee Khubchandani joins a six-person business planning department,
taking over responsibilities which were previously handled by the
agency's chief executive Conrad Chiu. Chiu said he spent half a year
searching for a suitable candidate.
"The business planning team will enable Market Catalyst to be actively
involved in defining a client's business strategy,
said Chiu.
Khubchandani has been with HSBC's personal banking unit as senior marketing planning manager, working across its regional network. Prior to that, she was a management consultant at Boston Consulting Group and a software engineer with Sun Microsystems in the US.
