Mannings drops Burnett and opts for Saatchis HK

HONG KONG: Personal care store Mannings has dropped Leo Burnett for Saatchi & Saatchi, which is working on a print campaign for the Hong Kong chain.

Mannings has, however, retained Starcom on the media account despite parting ways with Burnett three months after it had appointed the agency.

Saatchis group account director, Cecilia Wong, said the agency picked up Mannings following a two-agency shoot-out. She said the assignment included branding, advertising, in-store promotion and events management.

In a separate development, Saatchis has also scooped the Clean Hong Kong campaign for the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department after a five-way pitch. The campaign is intended to educate the public before the department introduces new fines for littering.
