The ad boasts direction by veteran director Hugh Hudson, most famous for his film Chariots of Fire, and cinematography by Xiaoding Zhao, whose credits include international successes such as Curse of the Golden Flower and House of Flying Daggers. “This is truly a case of ‘East meets West’ - a lot like the Mandarin Oriental itself,” said Hudson.
