DDB's assignment only covers the Jack 'n Jill brand's snack and biscuits in Malaysia.
Along with Jack 'n Jill, URC makes or distributes snacks and confectionery such Roller Coaster, Jigs, Nips Chocolate Coated Peanut and Cloud 9 chocolates.
DDB's CEO Florence Loh said the first task would be "to reinforce URC's brand vision to delight its customers with its trusted brands of exceptional quality - thereby creating a sense of a truly fun experience and easily becoming the first choice for consumers in fun snacks".
