Malaysia Airlines offers travel tips with NatGeo link

Malaysia Airlines and the National Geographic Channel have launched a series of 30-second vignettes and an online competition offering consumers the chance to win holidays.

According to NatGeo's Southeast Asia adsales and integrated marketing director, Yvonne Tay, the campaign consists of three phases. The Amalfi Coast contest ran from June 15 to July 14; the Jaipur contest will run until August 14; and the Milford Sound contest will run from August 15 until September 14. The vignettes use the idea of 'traveller insights', with each giving insider tips on the three destinations. Viewers must access the website to enter a multiple choice quiz, with the chance to win prizes including round-trip airfares and hotel accommodation, meals and transportation to the countries featured.
