Mak joins XM Hong Kong

HONG KONG - XM Hong Kong has hired Curtis Mak as new business director, replacing Lana Ng who departed the role four months ago.

Reporting to Conrad Chiu, CEO BatesAsia Hong Kong, Mak will work across the digital businesses of Bates’ HSBC, Visa, Frisco and Unilever’s Rexona accounts, among others.

“Although market insights show that customers’ purchase decisions and brand preferences are largely influenced by internet marketing, marketers in Hong Kong still are not allocating enough dollars to online,” said Mak.

He brings eight years’ experience to the role, and was most recently managing director of Deep Interactive.
