Magna promotes Wieser to global role

HONG KONG - Interpublic's research group Magna is promoting Brian Wieser (pictured) to senior vice-president, global director of forecasting with emphasis on emerging media, expanding his previous role to include forecasting and strategic advisory services on a global basis.

He will be reporting to Elizabeth Herbst-Brady president of Magna.

Wieser was previously the senior VP director in Magna focusing on emerging media forecasts. He joined the IPG network from Deutsche Bank Securities as the institutional investor on the cable and satellite sector equity research team.
