Madon will join the IPG network this July, following two years at BBDO. At McCann, he will oversee creative output for key accounts such as Coca-Cola and MasterCard. “There is no doubt that Farrokh has what it takes to propel the agency to new heights,” said Sorab Mistry, CEO and director of McCann South and Southeast Asia.
During his stint at BBDO, Farrokh saw the office win Mercedes-Benz, Keppel and Emirates business, as well as develop one of Tiger Beer’s most expensive TV spots, starring Jessica Alba. Prior to BBDO, Madon worked at Batey, M&C Saatchi and Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore.
Madon’s departure follows the move of Alex Lim, BBDO’s head of art, to Leo Burnett Singapore as CD (Media, 2 May).
Meanwhile, BBDO has appointed Danny Searle, a creative director at Clemenger BBDO in Sydney for the last five years, to fill the vacancy created by Madon’s move.
