Lynge departs MediaCorp
Eric Lynge has confirmed his resignation as MediaCorp TV managing director of TV airtime sales & marketing, stating that the decision was his alone. <BR><BR> "It's basically to take some time off and reflect," Lynge (pictured) told Media. "I have stepped down...of my own volition. After nearly 20 years of advertising sales and management without any notable break, I am going to take some time to be with my family and manage family investments." <BR><BR> In a press statement, MediaCorp deputy CEO Chang Long Jong revealed that Lynge will be succeeded by Melvin Ang. Ang is currently managing director and head of MediaCorp Studios and, formerly, was COO of previous MediaCorp-competitor MediaWorks.
