Luxottica's Sunglass Hut looks beyond borders for global creative

HONG KONG - Leo Burnett London, JWT New York, 180 Amsterdam and Sydney's Moon Design have pitched in Hong Kong for the global creative assignment to handle Italian group Luxottica's retail brand Sunglass Hut.

The pitch follows an initial phase in New York, which featured eight agencies. The four shortlisted contenders then attended a briefing in Milan before pitching creative in Hong Kong.

A source involved in the review noted that the company is looking to “bring the brand to life” across all its key touchpoints, which include retail, online and above the line. Billings for the assignment remain unclear.
Each of the agencies involved in the pitch is believed to handle Sunglass Hut in their respective geographies.
