Lundin tipped to join Golin/Harris Forrest in AD role

Golin/Harris Forrest has responded to the departure of four members from its corporate affairs practice by appointing a new associate director.

Sources reveal that Wade Lundin is joining the agency's corporate practice from his previous position as managing editor of HK Magazine. The departure of executive director and practice head John Mullins, associate directors Sue So and Debbie Chu, and senior associate Alex Gibb was "coincidental", according to managing director C.T. Hew, as none were joining competitor agencies. Mullins confirmed his move to the freelance sector. He also alluded to the loss of the DHL account to the Golin/Harris Singapore office, following the client's relocation of its regional HQ out of Hong Kong. So, meanwhile, has moved in-house to handle investor relations at a Shenzhen-based technology company. "It's just a coincidence that people have decided they have different paths," said So regarding the departures. Chu will continue to freelance for the agency, according to Hew. The agency has also promoted John Morgan to the position of deputy managing director. "It will strengthen the team in that it gives me more time to work with our clients, who are in growth mode," said Hew. sm
