Lowe saw off the challenges of Ogilvy & Mather, TBWA, Chuo Senko and Spa Advertising to win the business, and will create TV, radio, press and outdoor work for the company scheduled to break by the end of June. To date, EGAT has awarded advertising assignments on a project basis.
"The marketing of electricity in Thailand has a lot of rhetoric about economic growth, reliability and success," said Lowe Bangkok chief executive officer Tony Prehn.
"We have shown EGAT some high values ideas and approaches to the market that will differentiate their brand in the short and long term. It is a leadership position we are pursuing for EGAT."
