Lowe Thailand bolsters consulting offer

BANGKOK - Lowe Bangkok has hired Bhumsaran Amthong from Boston Consulting Group as part of a move to position the agency as a marketing consultancy.

Amthong joins as brand and corporate strategy consultant. He previously worked at Bank of Thailand and telecom firm Samart Corporation before moving to Boston Consulting.

“He will work with us to extend our capability in brand consulting, particularly in the area of measuring and modelling marketing ROI,” said Tony Prehn, chief executive of Lowe Bangkok.

The appointment follows Lowe’s hire of Edmund Seet as regional head of art/design, from BBH Singapore, reported this week.
