Lowe bags creative for Xiamen C&D Group

SHANGHAI - Fujian-based state-owned investment management conglomerate Xiamen C&D Group has named Lowe as its new creative advertising agency, after a two-round pitch against Dentsu and incumbent Ogilvy & Mather.

Lowe will be tasked with improving Xiamen C&D Group's corporate image and developing a national campaign. Xiamen C&D Group covers a diverse investment portfolio, with business scope that covers trading, logistics, real estate, tourism, hotels to construction.

“We have convinced the client that it is important to influence business decision-makers through consumers, as business people are consumers too. Therefore, the new corporate communications will have diverse coverage of managerial and enterprise proprietors, the upper crust of society and business community,” said Kitty Lun, chairman/CEO of Lowe China.

“Although the Xiamen C&D Group is a household name and top enterprise in Fujian province, we need to help it to boost brand awareness and reputation for their national expansion,” she added

Meanwhile, in August Lowe Worldwide announced it would strengthen its Southeast Asia operations with the launch of a management board comprising six senior agency executives, including the newly appointed CEO of Lowe Singapore Marco Milesi.

Earlier this year Lowe scooped the Bimbo Bakery creative account in China.
