Low departs Y&R

SINGAPORE - After 22 years at Y&R Singapore, executive creative director Patrick Low (pictured) is leaving the agency to pursue personal interests.

A statement from Y&R said that as one of the longest-serving creative leaders in the agency, Low has spotted and mentored generations of younger creative talents who have gone on to greater heights in Singapore and abroad.

Tanuj Philip, group CEO at Y&R Singapore, said: “His steadfast creative partnership has helped Y&R Singapore become one of the Y&R network’s most prolific offices. With our recent new business wins and creative showings in the last few years, Patrick has, borrowing his favourite sporting analogy, chosen to leave the stadium at the top of his game and I will miss his partnership.”

Low was the first local chairman of the Creative Circle Awards. He was also the first co-chairman of the Crowbar Awards for students.

Low added: “Right now, I am looking forward to a much-needed break and will start enjoying life at a slower pace with my wonderful wife and family, whom I have very much neglected.”
