A source described Sethi's departure as "sudden". Lim will retain his position as head of G2 and take on a dual role overseeing both Grey brands, as group CEO, effective immediately. Sethi joined Grey in 2004 as strategic planning director, rising to CEO, Grey Group Malaysia.
Lim was brought in to improve the fortunes of G2 Kula Lumpur in March 2006, and has since transformed the company into a regional hub for accounts including Pringles AAI and Kiwi Asia.
Meanwhile Grey Kulala Lumpur’s associate general manager Irene Wong has been promoted to general manager. She joined the company in 2005, as client service director.
