LI TV Asia searches for agency

SINGAPORE - LI TV Asia, a new regional lifestyle channel to be launched later this year by Malaysia's Star Publications, is looking for agencies to handle marketing and communications strategy and planning across Asia.

The client has appointed consulting company Green Worldwide Singapore to lead its for media buying, digital development and PR agencies.

Debbie Lee (pictured), the founder and managing director of Green Worldwide, said that the agency appointments would be made within the next two weeks. She refused to divulge the timelines for the exact launch of the channel.

“We are only interested in inviting three to four agencies for this brief and will be looking at compatibility. We are open to the idea of one agency handling all three briefs or three different agencies handling them. Even though we are not looking for a creative agency right now we might be doing so in future,” said Lee.

LI, which stands for Life Inspired, will touch on food, home, wellness, travel and style in its programming themes and will also feature a magazine as part of its full launch likely to be in the third or fourth quarter of this year.
