In this role, Lim will be responsible for driving sales and leading marketing efforts along with overall business management of LG mobile phones in Singapore and emerging markets. He reports to Arthur Huang, chief operating officer at LG Electronics Singapore.
“Augustine’s extensive experience in product marketing and business management especially in the area of mobile phones, will help position LG as one of the top mobile communications brands in Singapore,” said Mr. Huang. With more than 20 years' experience in the consumer electronics industry, Lim has held senior management roles at various world-class technology brands.
Before joining LG, Lim was the head of regional business management at Sony Ericsson Mobile AC APAC regional headquarters. He also spent six years with Samsung Asia regional headquarters as the regional director for strategic product marketing.
Lim holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the National University of Singapore.
