Lewis PR spreads its wings to Japan

TOKYO - Lewis PR has expanded into Japan, marking the agency's 33rd office opening worldwide.

Lewis PR Tokyo will be led by general manager Fred Tanaka, who will report to Erin Atan, senior vice-president of Lewis Asia-Pacific.

Tanaka joins Lewis from boutique agency PR Bank, which he founded in 2005, and brings experience with brands such as All Nippon Airways, DaimlerChrysler, ExxonMobil and Giorgio Armani.

“Japan is a thriving market for the consumer, corporate and biosciences sectors, and as an agency that is independent and fast-growing in these areas, we see a potential to establish our brand through our integrated and flexible proposition,” said Atan.

Lewis PR Tokyo adds to offices in operation in five countries in Asia-Pacific: Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, and Singapore.
