Levi's pitch sees agencies pair up in integration bid

Jeans brand Levi's has called a creative and media pitch for a multi-million dollar branding campaign, which will be launched later this year in Hong Kong.

Leo Burnett is believed to have hooked up with sister Publicis agency Starcom to pitch against incumbent McCann Erickson and Universal McCann.

According to industry sources, the winning agency will be charged with revitalising Levi's brand image in the city. The youth brand, which targets consumers aged 15 to 30, is seeing increased competition from brands such as DKNY Jeans, CK Jeans and Lee Jeans, all of which focus on print advertising for product promotions and branding.

The new campaign, however, will see Levi's launch an integrated push in the SAR.
