Leo Burnett resigns CSL account

HONG KONG - Leo Burnett Hong Kong has ended its five-year tenure as mobile operator CSL's creative agency-of-record, due to "fundamental differences of opinions".

Burnett Greater China chairman Eddie Booth (pictured) explained that the agency would finish any ongoing projects until CSL finds a new agency. "They are a fantastic brand still, and we wish them and their new agencies the best of luck in the future," said Booth.

The business comprises CSL’s two mobile brands in Hong Kong - 1010 and One2Free. The resignation follows six months after Christina Teo assumed the role of chief marketing officer at CSL.
