Lee to oversee entire Citibank marketing portfolio

ASIA-PACIFIC - Citibank Asia-Pacific chief marketing officer HJ Lee has taken on a new role overseeing all the bank's marketing functions, in line with a major bank-wide reorganisation.

Lee, who previously oversaw consumer marketing, now adds to his portfolio institutional clients and wealth management for the entire region including Japan, according to a Citibank spokesperson. The development follows the appointment of Ajay Banga as Citibank regional CEO. Banga has kicked off a regional restructuring of the bank's operations, dividing them into four sub-regions - North Asia, South Asia, Japan and Southeast Asia-Pacific - across seven product and coverage groups.
