Lee steps down at OgilvyOne Malaysia, Ang promoted to new role

KUALA LUMPUR - OgilvyOne Malaysia MD Alex Lee is stepping down after three years running the agency, a shift that sees ECD Selina Ang (pictured) take on a new role as executive director.

Ang will assume control of the agency on 1 September, and retains her role running OgilvyOne's creative department.

She will be assisted by Scott McBride, who joins from Glasgow-based digital agency OceanSeventy - a company he founded - as general manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the agency.

Lee will move to another, as yet unconfirmed, position within Ogilvy Group, but is tipped for an elevated role.

Also new to the agency is Stanley Tay, who joins from Yahoo Southeast Asia as media director of digital planning and buying arm Neo@Ogilvy, and Gerald Lim from Microsoft joins as a senior consultant at OgilvyOne.
