Leader... Text 100 has the moxie to think big

Text 100's decision to elevate two of its senior regional executives into newly-created global positions based in Asia should be applauded.

It is not the first time that the agency has demonstrated a refreshing lack of respect for convention. Last year, it opted to mimic its many tech-based clients by establishing a PR servicing outsourcing hub in Mumbai. In terms of scale, the agency still struggles to compete against the big networks in Asia, but its technology expertise gives it a competitive edge in an increasingly digital world. As a projected slowdown begins to take hold, perhaps big will no longer look quite so beautiful for Asia’s PR agencies.
