LEADER: Ad school gives industry new blood

The Hong Kong 4As' first advertising training school has successfully completed its debut term, with more than 40 graduates now ready to enter the industry.

The 4As has long tried to attract and develop new blood, but its ad school is its best and most intensive effort yet. With the current sluggish economy in Hong Kong, it also comes at a time when the industry is in need of fresh ideas and renewed passion.

This is the first step. The next ones will likely see schools for media and account planning, a natural progression to ensure the industry has a sufficiently large talent pool to tap.
