Lai departs as Initiative removes Asia-Pacific leadership role

HONG KONG - King Lai (pictured) is to depart his role as Asia-Pacific president at Initiative, following a worldwide reorganisation at the agency that eliminates the leadership position in this region.

Lai departs Initiative after almost seven years at the agency. Initative Australia CEO Roger Camplisson adds a regional representative role to his portfolio, coordinating Asia-Pacific issues.

Other changes globally include the promotion of Initiative Portugal CEO Mario Mateus to EMEA president, and the appointment of Bant Breen as president of worldwide digital communications at the agency. The restructuring follows the appointment of Initiative worldwide chief executive Richard Beaven in March of this year.
