Labarthe shifts from David to Bates role

SINGAPORE - BatesAsia has named David Communications' regional planning director Judd Labarthe as its new regional head of strategy, following news that the two agencies are combining operations across Asia (Media, 3 November).

BatesAsia president Jeffrey Yu (pictured) confirmed that Labarthe will join new BatesAsia COO Digby Richards in overseeing the Bates and David networks in Asia.

"We are very happy to have these two highly competent and intelligent people with us," said Yu. Yu also added that David local management will report into himself and Richards.
