Kyme had been working with the agency on a consultancy basis for the six months before his position was made permanent, but has now been charged with the clear full-time brief of reshaping the agency's creative offering for both Hong Kong and China as Eight grows its presence there. Kyme's previous position was executive creative director/managing part- ner at Bang Hong Kong, which he co-founded in February 2004. "After a year away from the industry, I felt it was time for a challenge, which is what this job will definitely be," he said.
Mike Wong also joined Eight in March this year, as managing partner tasked with setting up the Greater China-focused group's first office in mainland China.
Kyme returns to industry as Eight creative partner
Chris Kyme has been appointed as creative partner at branding and publishing house Eight Partnership, after taking a year out from the industry.
