Krispy Kreme partners BBDO Guerrero globally

GLOBAL - Krispy Kreme has named BBDO Guerrero as creative partner for its growing international store operations.

The Omnicom firm will work with the doughnut corporation on developing integrated product, promotional and brand-building efforts on its products which includes premium-quality sweet treats, doughnuts and coffee, plus global projects developed for markets in Asia-Pacific, Latin America, Europe and the Middle East.

The US-based doughnut brand has eight outlets in the Philippines and has plans to open up to 30 outlets as it looks to foreign markets for growth.

As part of its international expansion in Asia, Krispy Kreme has also entered China and Malaysia.

Under an agreement with the Lotte Group, the donut chain will be launching up to 35 stores over the next five years in Shanghai, Beijing and Tianjin, China.

In Malaysia, it will open up to 20 stores in the next five years.
