Kraft picks Aegis to handle $110m media business

SHANGHAI - Kraft has selected Aegis Media to handle its media buying and planning, following a pitch that displaces incumbent MindShare.

The review came after Kraft acquired a range of biscuit brands from Danone, for which Aegis already handled media duties. The agency will now oversee such brands as Oreo, Tang and Maxwell House along with the biscuit brands Prince, Tuc and Shark.

Kraft China’s monitored spend reached US$110 million in 2007.
