Ko selected to head RMG Greater China
<P>JWT's strategic customer relationship arm RMG Connect has unveiled two senior hires for China, with Daniel Ko appointed to the new position of managing director, RMG Connect Greater China, effective October.</P> <P>Specialising in CRM for on- and off-line media, Ko will be joined by digital specialist Jit Ng, currently business director, OgilvyOne Singapore, who comes on board as Beijing MD.</P> <P>"It represents a significant investment in our relationship marketing," said Tom Doctoroff, JWT Northeast Asia director. "These two represent a level of expertise and a partnership that we simply haven't had, so now we can bring them into JWT without taking away their autonomy." </P> <P>According to Ko, RMG is perfectly placed to take the next step in its development, following last year's high-profile alignment with WPP sister company XM. "I believe in terms of China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, digital interaction is growing stronger every day. Clients are looking for integrated solutions, from CRM right down to interactive, viral and eDM," he said.</P> <P>Part of Ko's remit also includes examining possible business opportunities in Taiwan, a key target area. <BR></P>
