Kinetic tapped to run Zuji campaign

Zuji has tapped Kinetic Interactive to handle its 'Get2know the world' campaign in Singapore, as part of a broader move to switch from regional brand-building to localised retail marketing.

The move follows news that Zuji would no longer be retaining M&C Saatchi on a regional basis (Media, February 21). As Zuji director of marketing Philip Ho said, the travel portal is aiming to drive sales in each of its six country markets, to maximise ROI.

"This has not reflected on our spend on Zuji Singapore's marketing activities," said Ho. "If anything, the budget for our current retail campaign has been bigger than each of 2005's retail campaigns."

Ho also confirmed that there had been no internal restructuring at Zuji to accompany this decision. "We continually evaluate relationships with the ad agencies on a yearly basis to ensure they meet the coming year's marketing objectives and plans."
