Ketchum strengthens Greater China management

HONG KONG - Ketchum has bolstered its line-up of executives in Greater China.

Chris Liu (pictured) has been promoted to partner and chief business director of Greater China. He was previously the general manager for Hong Kong and partner and executive vice president of Greater China. Liu will oversee all operation of the China offices on regional pitches and drive growth initiatives locally and globally for the agency. He will continue to based in Hong Kong.

Meanwhile, senior vice president of corporate and technology practice and deputy general manager of the Hong Kong office Simeon Mellalieu has been promoted to the position of general manager.

Joe Tong has also joined Ketchum Guangzhou as the director and will report to Liu.

Liu will work closely with Kenneth Chu, CEO of Greater China, and president Betty Lo. “The promotions of Chris and Simeon as well as the appointment of Joe are part of our strategic plan to strengthen our Greater China network and galvanise our resources to succeed in this challenging time,” said Chu.
