Kenkre departs MTV Asia

MTV Asia senior director of communications Hemant Kenkre has become the latest high-profile departure from the network, after leaving last week. <br><br> The news follows wide-ranging global cutbacks at the channel in late 2005, which resulted in several senior staff being laid off in Asia. Kenkre (pictured), who joined MTV India in 1999 before relocating to Singapore in January 2005, said that he had no fixed plans as yet. "I don't want to hurry too much," he said.
