Kam Fan '99 winners join Euro as co-ECDs
<p>Following intense industry speculation, Ms Rachel Chau and Ms Angela </p><p>Pong have been confirmed as co-executive CDs at Euro RSCG Partnership </p><p>Hong Kong. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Both have more than 10 years' of experience on the Hong Kong advertising </p><p>scene, and first worked as a team at Ogilvy & Mather in 1988. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>They moved to Bates and were applauded for their work for HSBC </p><p>corporate, and two years ago, they joined Saatchi & Saatchi, where they </p><p>played a role in turning around the creative reputation of the agency, </p><p>which won the Kam Fan for its Vita Lemon Tea work. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>"I have known for a long time how talented Rachel and Angela are," said </p><p>Euro managing director Kitty Lun. "As the managing director of an agency </p><p>totally focused on creative excellence for clients of the new century, I </p><p>look forward to having a very creative and brilliant partnership with </p><p>Rachel and Angela." </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Ms Chau and Ms Pong said that they "clicked" with Euro from the first </p><p>meeting: "Euro truly believes in creativity and an integrated solution </p><p>for marketing communications. This is the right environment for us to </p><p>excel." </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>They join Euro at a time when the agency is having unprecedented success </p><p>in winning new business, including WorldRoom, Tom.com, Alibaba.com, </p><p>iBusiness-Corporation, Dickson Cyber Concepts, BMC Media, Hong Kong Arts </p><p>Centre and Towngas. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>"The opportunity for Rachel and Angela to join Euro came when (former </p><p>CD) Fred Tong decided to pursue interests outside of the agency," said </p><p>Ms Lun. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>"Fred is leaving at a time when we couldn't have been stronger.
