Kaintel assumes global Zenith role for HP

SINGAPORE - ZenithOptimedia Singapore CEO, Harpreet Singh Kaintel (pictured), will be leaving for the US to take on the global director role for the agency's HP business.

Phil Talbot, ZenithOptimedia’s Asia CEO, confirmed the move, which will take place in September, and said: Harpreet is a great example of how ZenithOptimedia identifies and develops key talent within our global network.

He has risen to all the challenges and development programmes that we have given him in recent years. More importantly he has also shown himself to be a great leader of his staff and a great business partner to his clients. Harpreet thoroughly deserves this opportunity to demonstrate his skills by leading ZenithOptimedia’s relationship with Hewlett Packard on a global basis.

Kaintel, who was appointed CEO of the Singapore office in 2006, said: The opportunity to work on HP, one of our most important global accounts, was too strong to resist and I am really looking forward to this challenge. It’s also recognition of the role that Asia, particularly Singapore, is playing in the global space today.

The past seven years in Singapore have been a great learning experience, for which I would like to thank all the wonderful clients and colleagues I got to work with.

Talbot added that he was looking to strengthen our Singapore operations through investments in strategic resources and digital while a search is underway to find Kaintel’s successor.
