JWT retains agency of the year honours in Indonesia

JAKARTA - JWT Indonesia has won the agency of the year award at the 2008 Citra Pariwara awards, Indonesia's biggest advertising awards show.

WWF, meanwhile, was named advertiser of the year, driven by two campaigns: My Baby Tree by JWT and Homeless by Hakuhodo.

My Baby Tree also won the best interactive campaign award while the best print campaign went to Leo Burnett for its Jordon Dental Floss campaign. The award for the best production house went to Gravity.

Agnello Dias, chief creative officer of JWT India led the main category and print craft category judging.

Other members of the jury included Andy Soong Kok Leong, executive creative director from Publicis Malaysia, Brian Charles Capel, technical advisor from Leo Burnett Kreasindo, Glenn Alexander, creative director from Ogilvy Indonesia, Kentaro Kimura, Co-CEO, creative director/account planner from Hakuhodo Kettle Japan, Simon Welsh, executive creative director from BBDO Guerrero Manila and Yazied Safa’at; creative director from Srengenge Yogyakarta.
