JWT names Webster Japan CEO

TOKYO - JWT has promoted Mark Webster (pictured) to CEO of JWT Japan from chairman of JWT Thailand, filling the vacancy left by Ambar Brahmachary who has joined Young & Rubicam as its Asia-Pacific head.

Webster (pictured) has been with JWT for 14 years, beginning in Hong Kong.

He held MD positions in Vietnam and the Philippines before arriving at JWT Thailand five years ago. JWT Thailand has yet to announce Webster's replacement.
