JWT drives off with Mazda S'pore business

JWT Singapore has scooped Mazda Motor Singapore's S$2 million advertising business, following a four-way pitch last September against Ogilvy & Mather, Brandz and incumbent Publicis. The agency partnered with Maxus and Burson-Marsteller for the intial pitch which involved proposals for a brand campaign, since expanded to include all product advertising in Singapore. Mazda marketing head Philip Lu said: "The decision we came to was based on several factors especially quality of creative ideas and JWT demonstrated the 'zoom zoom' passion Mazda likes to see."
