JWT creates new regional talent role

SINGAPORE - JWT has promoted Sapna Srivastava (pictured) from its India office to the newly-created role of chief talent officer for Asia-Pacific.

Srivastava has amassed over 16 years of talent management experience and spent six years as head of HR at JWT India.

Her new role will see her attract and hone new talent to join the WPP agency while developing its current pool in the region.

Michael Maedel, president of JWT Worldwide said, “While the fast-paced growth in Asia is exhilarating, it can be exhausting for employees trying to keep up with the explosive growth and maintain world-class service. ”

“When I saw about the innovative talent programmes Sapna had introduced in India, I knew she was the right person for this newly-established regional role.”

Srivastava said, “I am excited to deploy these initiatives region-wide. Over the past few years, our efforts have had a tremendously positive impact on retention and overall employee satisfaction.”

“Sometimes the smallest changes can have a huge impact on an employee’s well-being and happiness,” she added.
