JWT China bags Red Bull creative

BEIJING - JWT Beijing is believed to have landed creative duties for Red Bull in China, following a review that included McCann Erickson and incumbent Ogilvy & Mather.

JWT Beijing general manager Oliver Xu declined to comment.

After launching in the country in 1995, Red Bull has grown its presence in the energy drink category in China. In particular, the brand has leveraged sports sponsorship activities to build recognition, tying up with domestic football, golf and wushu.
