Jones quits as JWT's global head
<p>Chris Jones, the chief executive of J. Walter Thompson, the world's </p><p>fourth largest advertising agency network, has quit for health </p><p>reasons. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>He has been succeeded by Peter Schweitzer, 61, who will add the post of </p><p>chief executive to his current role as president of the worldwide </p><p>network. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Mr Jones, 45, was reported to be suffering from deep vein thrombosis, an </p><p>ailment that afflicts some people travelling on long-haul flights. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
