JobStreet hires Saatchi & Saatchi for integrated drive

KUALA LUMPUR - Online recruitment firm JobStreet has appointed Saatchi & Saatchi as its creative agency in Malaysia.

The Publicis Groupe agency has been tasked to develop advertising and below-the-line communications that will break in the fourth quarter of 2008 to increase sign-ups to the recruitment firm’s portal, JobStreet.com.
 
The recruitment firm currently covers more than 50,000 corporate customers and four million job seekers in markets such as Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, India and Bangladesh.

JobStreet’s latest employment confidence index had reported a dip of 0.8 per cent in Malaysia since December 2007 as economic uncertainties and growing inflation continue to hinder job creation in the country.
