JetStar review takes off

JetStar Asia has put its creative, media and PR accounts up for pitch, as the low cost carrier refines its strategy ahead of the upcoming rollout of JetStar International. <BR><BR> It is believed that creative presentations have been made by M&C Saatchi, media pitches by Asian incumbent Carat and MindShare and PR presentations by incumbent Ogilvy PR and Burson-Marsteller. Creative is currently handled by Ogilvy RedCard, which helped to launch the airline in Asia. <BR><BR> The business under review reportedly covers Asia, along with inbound traffic to Australia generated by JetStar International, which will fly from Australia to select global destinations, including Japan and Hawaii. <BR><BR> The news comes after Media revealed that JetStar Asia was reviewing its media agency arrangements, currently split between Carat in Asia and ZenithOptimedia, which handles the JetStar Airways Australian business (Media, May 8).
