Jetstar deepens relationship with Ogilvy

Australia-based low-cost carrier Jetstar has expanded its alignment with the Ogilvy network to include Ogilvy PR and Ogilvy Singleton for PR and interactive duties respectively, two months after assigning its creative business to RedCard. <BR><BR> Ogilvy's AOR responsibilities, handled through its Singapore office, will take an increasingly international scope as Jetstar adds more long-haul flights to its slate. Both assignments are believed to add significant value to the account billings, which are estimated at US$800,000 per annum. <BR><BR> The assignments follow recent announcements that Jetstar will launch long-haul flights between Australia and Hawaii, Japan, Thailand and Vietnam. <BR><BR> Jetstar also recently took over a Cairns-Darwin-Singapore route from its parent airline, Qantas.
