JEH bags top award at Media Spikes

Fledgling creative shop JEH United Bangkok has scooped platinum as Best of Show at the 20th Asian Advertising Awards, held for the first time in Bali. <BR><BR> Titled 'The love story', the series of commercials also scored a gold and silver as a TV campaign and four silvers in the pharmaceuticals, beauty products, cosmetics and toiletries category at the awards, commonly known as the Spikes. The work also claimed a craft silver, for best use of film direction. <BR><BR> Other major winners on the night included Dentsu Tokyo, taking gold in the Best Out of Home campaign category for its NTT-Resonant work, while JWT Shanghai picked up gold in the Best Poster campaign field for Nike Hong Kong. <BR><BR> Among the networks, JWT emerged as a clear winner with 39 awards, excluding finalist commendations, with its Shanghai office leading the way with 20 gongs. Ogilvy & Mather was runner-up with 18 awards, with BBDO and Leo Burnett close behind on 17 and 12 awards respectively.
