Jaques to replace Walker as head of M&C Saatchi

Jaques takes the role less than a year after departing Y&R's North American operation and relocating back to Hong Kong. Walker, meanwhile, departs the agency after three years, a development reported by Media earlier this year (Media, 4 October). M&C Saatchi Asia-Pacific executive chairman Tom Dery pointed out that Jaques' will be charged with intensifying the M&C Saatchi's Asian growth, which has flagged in recent times. Jaques will have a minority equity stake in the network and will be on the executive committee.
