Reporting to DDB Singapore ECD Neil Johnson, Jacob will lead the creative team in place for the regional Unilever brand, which DDB secured from JWT in February (Media, 23 February).
Jacob was most recently an associate creative director at BatesAsia, where he has worked on accounts such as Nokia and Heineken since last August (Media, 11 August 2006). Prior to that, he had stints at JWT, Ogilvy and Lowe during his 15-year career. His awards haul includes the Creative Circle Awards’ gong, Cannes, D&AD and One Show nods.
“Joji is exceedingly creative, but tremendously disciplined as well. He is what we need as we raise the creative bar without dropping the ball on strategically solid work,” said Johnson.
