The show's organiser wants ITE MICE to draw
in more corporate buyers this year, along with travel agents handling CEI business who will also
attend the main ITE show.
Of the 9,500 trade visitors and buyers attending
last year's expo, 20 per cent came from abroad
and another 18 per cent from mainland China.
The show aims to capitalise on growing incentives
business in mainland China.
According to the organiser, TKS Exhibition Services,
a survey last December in Guangdong province found that 33.4 per cent of enterprises there provided year-end bonuses to their staff in the
form of incentive-travel rewards.
